Small Bathroom Design

At 850mm x 2700mm this was one of the smallest bathrooms I have worked on. Given the restriction in overall space I opted for a wall hung toilet up one end, a frame less shower at the other and in between a wall hung basin. I used dark tiles on three of the walls and the floor. This tile could only be described as looking like burnt timber. The fourth wall was done in a mosaics which were black and stainless.

The trick to designing small bathrooms is to keep it simple. The use of mirrors to reflect the mosaic tiles worked to great effect. Being able to put an in wall open shelf created a innovative option for storage.
